| Kelly Dixon, WHNP, joined Central Carolina OB/GYN in May 2010. She originally received her Bachelor of Science of Nursing at State University of New York at Plattsburgh in 1993. She spent the first four years of her nursing career as a labor and delivery nurse in the United States Air Force. | Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) are nurses who have furthered their education specifically in the care of women throughout their life span. The CNMs are available to offer physical examinations, pap smears, contraceptive counseling and treatment, preconception counseling and prenatal care and delivery of low risk obstetrical patients. The CNMs work in close consultation with the physicians of Central Carolina Obstetrics & Gynecology who will serve as referral physicians for any gynecological or obstetrical complications. | |

| Jackie Marquis, CNM grew up in Norfolk, Virginia. Her professional career started as an LPN graduating from Leigh Memorial Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia in 1968. She received her diploma in nursing from Norfolk General Hospital School of Nursing in 1974. After graduation she worked as a labor and delivery nurse and attended The University of Mississippi Midwifery | |
